Isabelle Parker is living the life of a popular high school student. Her life is already hard enough, as she tries to find her way through life when her parents suddenly divorce. She is decelerating in every way possible; her studies, her relationships, and worse of all, she is continuously thinking about suicide. Follow Isabelle as she finds the true reason behind her parents' divorce, makes new friends, goes through hardships and difficulties, but finds the true meaning to love and friendship.

This is about Akio, the Son of the Shinigami, who now took his father's place as the Shinigami after a spirit agreeing with a spirit once shi ritual had gone horrible wrong. Akio travels the land trying to complete the purpose of his "occupation", which is sending others to the after life whether it is their time or not. He must complete this or else he will be sent to the after life himself. Along the way though is more challenges than he would dream of.
