Elizabeth Bennet lives with her mother, father, and sisters in the English countryside. As the eldest, she faces mounting pressure from her parents to marry. When the outspoken Elizabeth is introduced to the handsome and upper-class Mr. Darcy, sparks fly. Although there is obvious chemistry between the two, Darcy's overly reserved nature threatens the fledgling relationship. #72 on classic as of 6/21/2018 #12 on mr darcy as of 6/21/2018 #30 prideandprejudice as of 6/21/2018 #35 on janeausten as of 6/21/2018 #11 on elizabethbennet as of 6/21/2018

What if Mr. Darcy was more determined to have Elizabeth? No matter the price? What if Lydia's situation forced Elizabeth to accept his advances? Will Elizabeth's prejudice, anger, and hatred for Mr. Darcy persist . . . or will she realize that love is sometimes found in places she never expected it to be found? An alternate ending to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, currently my favorite book of all time. May change the rating later. Hope you enjoy!

Here are some of the chapters of the novel Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin, rewritten from Mr. Darcy's point of view. In order to present the character's development throughout the book, I chose one chapter from the beginning, one from the middle and one from the end. This was for an English class project and I thought to share it. Enjoy :)

After the marriage of Elizabeth and Mr Darcy the world still fights against them. Both must face the pressures of a new life together while dealing with old and new troubles. *This story takes notes of pieces from both the book as well as the 2005 movie and the 1995 tv series. It starts after Mr Darcy's proposal from the movie.* *I do not own these characters, they all derive from the Jane Austen novel unless they are household staff written by myself.*

Reading P&P, Mr Darcy's feelings seem rather acute, but do not get much attention. This story explores them from the moment just after his rejection, to beyond his actual marriage. The action follows P&P exactly, but some secondary characters, most notably Georgiana and Mrs Younge, push the boundaries of Miss Austen's description. The style of writing diverges from hers ever more.

The story follows the main character Elizabeth Bennet as she deals with issues of manners, upbringing, morality, education, and marriage in the society of the landed gentry of early 19th-century England. Elizabeth is the second of five daughters of a country gentleman living near the fictional town of Meryton in Hertfordshire, near London.
