At her new school she meets a lot of new people and makes new friends like her best friend lupe aka smiley. Smiley shows her the homies from school and there Mia meets Andres aka Chino. Andres and Mia quickly fall for each other but with a crazy ex like Martha aka flirt will do anything to keep them apart. Now Mia and Andres go through many situations just to be together.
