Short story (fanfiction) based on the Winston Brothers series by author Penny Reid. In this particular story, meant to be read after the book Beard in Mind, we have a taste of the adventures and travels of Duane Winston and Jessica James after they leave their native Tennessee and move to Italy.

There are a few things you should know about Olivia. 1. She used to be in love with her boss. 2. She is not, under any circumstances, in love with her new boss. 3. Gnocchi is more important than air. 3. She's not a nice person. This is a fanfiction serial (think short, brief interludes) about two side characters, Milo Manganiello and Olivia (one, a sort of villain) from the Knitting in the City series by Penny Reid (Olivia appears in "Neanderthal Meets Human" and Milo appears in "Friends without Benefits"). However, the story stand enough on its own that having read those two stories is not necessary to understand the plot. It was written for #FanficFriday, a Facebook tradition in Penny's fan group.

This idea was inspired by a post in the Penny Reid Sharks of Awesome Group. The proposed idea is to write a ridiculous and entirely just for fun serial novel in the style of Naked Came the Stranger based off of an idea originally found on tumblr and circulated on the internet. This story, Project: Chosen Grannie, is about an old grandma who gets "chosen" to save the world from doom, apocalypse, destruction, etc., instead of an young adult. She knits and has cats. Each chapter is written by a separate author and picks up where the last one left off. This has the potential to be awful. But more than likely, it will be amazing.
