When Otabek was given his first assignment in the Introductory Carer Program, he naively assumed that his debut case would be an easy one. Instead, he was paired with Yuri Plisetsky, a boy who never left his house and was something of a mystery and a point of pain for his plethora of carers he'd chased away. Initially, Otabek was skeptic. Never before had he met somebody quite so difficult to get through to, but he wouldn't allow himself to be discouraged. Yuri overhears a conversation between Mila and Beka that leaves him feeling betrayed. Before he can confront them, he has to leave to nurse his sick Grandpa and his own broken heart. When Beka shows up at Grandpa's door, Yuri doesn't know what to think. Pining with a happy ending. The title and chapter titles are all song titles - songs that I felt are appropriate to the chapters / work and that I think Yuri would listen to. Keith's face perked up then, as if he'd just had a brilliant idea, and Lance could almost not wait to hear what new obscure thought had entered Keith's pretty head. He was prepared to laugh, and instead found himself shivering again as Keith leaned far into his personal bubble, lips practically touching Lance's ear when he spoke next.
