I have just started writing and I am sure as my story develops I will choose a title and provide a better description. As it were, this is an excerpt from a story I hope will turn into a book. This story starts in the Renaissance era as Elaine Romtree and her son return to her hometown of Farlith where the reigning Duchess rules the land and her husband with a sorceress's hand. Little does she know that with the return of her husband's childhood sweetheart comes a threat that could overthrow her claim to power.

A woman struggles to take back her life in any way she can when a young contractor walks through her door. He desires to help her push through the crippling aftermath of loss, not realizing that his own deep need is causing him to cross lines he never intended.

This is just a random book of poems. Nothing special, but I thought that because I write all of these random poems, why not share them? Anyways, sorry if they're crap.
