Things have gotten quite a bit confusing in Dan's mind for the past few months, and knowing that the fans... "shipped" him and Kyle really didn't help anything. But just because some random kids who don't actually know you think you belong with your friend doesn't mean you actually do... right? Maybe he should just keep quiet and ignore the feelings. After all, Kyle is just a friend and couldn't possibly be thinking the same thing. I've tried to highlight the confusions of interest that seem to plague so many of our lives and threaten to ruin our friendships. I've personally dealt with plenty of this confusion so I thought I'd try to put it in a story, and why not use an all-time favorite ship?
