This is the Match:2018 Triangle Contest entry, it's a Sci-fi Short story.

A land of faeries and creatures of various shapes and sizes. Each faerie as well as each creature is different. Any rule made is created by the Council of Nine. Every choice is made by a group of magical items called relics. When several portal open into different times and places, a floating island and tower come through along with a person that is three in one. Will the outer lands, called Shad's domain take control of the delicate monarch. Turn a page and find out. Journey to Yyadrasayal.

Meiko is, what she considers to be, just your ordinary girl enrolled at an ordinary high school with her not-so-ordinary friends: popular Miku, fashionable Luka, adventurous Gumi, mischievous Rin and her playboy twin brother Len, samurai-wannabe Gakupo, and the sweet-natured Kaito. Up until now, Meiko and Kaito have been nothing more than good friends. But now that the two are hanging out together more often, Meiko has developed feelings for him, despite her persistent denial of them. Is their mutual liking for each other strictly platonic, or will there be romance?
