She's poison disguised as honey, arsenic encased in vanilla, a snake morphed into a graceful, pure swan. She was hurt, but now she's healed. Or so she pretends to be. Under her sweet, mysterious smiles, twinkling, bright amber eyes, the tone in her mellifluous voice, she's broken, cruel, cunning and guarded, vowing never to let her own flaws damage her ever again. He was soft encased in a hard coating, a smile buried beneath a frown, a gentle heart under the stony exterior and he never expected to find anyone that could ever mend him again. What do they both have in common? They're broken beings, haunted by the past, although one forcefully pushes it away every chance she gets and the other dwells on it every other night. They found each other, but didn't think much of it until she suddenly realized she could get revenge on the past by playing him, fake sweet smiles and all. His epiphany was that maybe she was the one; the one who could finally take all his pain away, fooled by her charm and ice cold heart. Only hurt could come out of something like this. In the end, who would win? Would her manipulations and lies break him? Or would his love and attention break her?
