The war has ended with many lives lost, a lot of hearts broken, but many lives saved by the death of the most hated and feared wizard. A certain wizard gets a second chance in life and most probably love, while a certain witch gets a second chance to live but who knows what happens next. Not all is as it seems when Hermione Granger returns to Hogwarts and starts her new position as potions assistant to the infamous Severus Snape... Not only does Hermione now have to prove to Professor Snape that she is qualified for the position, but she also has to workout why she keeps on defending him and why he intrigues her so much... And above all else work out what on earth is up with Harry!??! Yep there's quite a bit of mystery in this along with a fair amount of discovery as well hopefully. I'm planning on messing with the geography of Hogwarts to some degree (nothing major) and adding a few of my own ideas about things in along the way! Her brown hair is replaced by black hair, her light almost pale skin isn't so light anymore, rather caramel color, and her eyes aren't brown, they're sapphire green. When she asks her mother to explain her parents only tell her four words "you're not a Granger". Four words was all it took to change her life upside down. More visits to the Malfoy manor, more un wanted time wth her brother Blaise Zabini and more time with the south wines since her "mom" wants her to interact with the people who would become family and friends.

Ron and Hermione break up after she finds out the truth. What happens when the least expected person comes and saves the day? Will they stay friends or will they become more? Who will Hermione choose?

I always liked the idea that maybe Emma and Tom had gotten together during some of the Harry Potter years but kept it secret. Obviously, that most likely didn't happen. So this story is completely made up from my own imagination because I wanted to make myself feel better about Feltson and Dramione not being canon. This story is not accurate at all.
