Peridot has lived a lonely, unhappy life all the way up to Senior year in high school. She's a social outcast among her peers and has given up on trying to fit in. Although, when she finally becomes friends with the girl of her dreams, her whole life changes. Will her life change for the better? "Just because there are thousands more exactly like this, doesn't mean a single one doesn't matter.." Lapis started to tear up at those touching words. "Peridot? Do you ever feel... Alone? Abandoned? Lost? Like a waste of space?" "Do you?" "Yes." "Yes." "Lapis, Have you ever felt like you couldn't trust anyone? Not even a family member?" "Yes. But that was a long time ago. A few weeks ago, I could only trust one person. But now, I am glad to say I can trust two." "Who are they?" "Well, the person I felt like I could always trust, my closest friend Steven. But I felt like I couldn't even be that open to him since he's too young to understand most of it." "And the other person?" Lapis hugged Peridot, tears rolling down her face. "You." Lapis Lazuli has very few friends. She prefers to be alone but never minds having company; well, as long as she gets along with them. She loves hanging out on the beach, but only the one her friend Steven lives on. She refuses to hang out with anyone besides Steven; and if she does, they are meeting up at the beach. Lapis has short blue hair and wears a necklace with a blue gem on it that she never takes off. Ever. Lapis has never loved anyone before. She says the only person she has ever loved was Steven, but as a brother or even son. She's kinda overprotective over Steven sometimes but Steven is perfectly fine with that. She thinks she will never find love, and that everyone would deserve better than her. Well, until she runs into the soon to be love of her life. Peridot has no friends. But that's because she chooses not to. This nerdy blond builds robots for a living. Peridot claims to have no family and to have never loved anyone or anything except for her little robots. She has short blond hair that sometimes forms a triangular shape. She also loves playing video games and is very good at them. Peridot believes love doesn't exist. Well, that is until she meets the new love of her life.

what if gems went to high school? what if gems had parents? and what if all the gems we know were in the state of mind as teenagers? follow lapis and peridot's story as they attend home world high together as best friends and watch as their relationship grows closer but what if things all go crumbling down because of peridot's mental illness what will happen? (Note: I wrote this when I was like 12 so I wasn't all that great at writing yet so it may be cringey and sort've all over the place)

After Days of Steven being taken away Steven Was back from home world and so is everyone else including the Off colors.. while being at home world there were some hidden rebel gems.. They joined Steven and joined the Crystal gems thanks to Lion and Lars, but a few years later home world is back to fight the remaining rebels.. When they arrive on the same spot they once were 5000 years ago.. Peridot and Lapis must get through this together and defend their new home.. What will happen in the future for the two..?
