There is a stage between childhood and adulthood that makes us all want to bang our heads into a concrete wall as if that will somehow make us forget the things we did in that cringe-worthy stage of adolescence. That golden era of bad haircuts, first and last dates, and that undeniable feeling of wanting to fit in. Teenagehood. Surviving it is a feat in itself, and the memories you make may haunt you forever. So this is my guide to the good, the bad, and the ugly of surviving teenagehood. Yes this will include anecdotes. "Wait! You can see me?" He asks with wide eyes. I roll my eyes at his stupidity, is he high or something? "Of course I can see you, you idiot!" I say with annoyance lacing my tone. He looks at me with bewilderment at me as if I just grew another head. "How can you see me?" He says, with the same bewildered look in his eyes. I huff in irritation. "God, what type of shit have you been drinking, dude? Yes, I can see you, what's the big deal in that?" I say as I place my hands on my hips. "This can't be possible. You shouldn't be able to see me." He says as he shakes his head. "Why?" I say, completing this drunken game he's playing. "Because I am dead."

#908 in Teen Fiction '9/12/2016' #788 in Teen Fiction '18/1/2017' Life could be really tough. It could be sunshine-y and peachy but just like that, it turns upside down and everything falls apart like an avalanche. This is exactly what happened to Alexa Gray. Alexa was the school's sunshine, everyone loved her. Until she was diagnosed with stage 4 Leukemia, and her life went down the hill. She made a promise to herself to make the last 6 weeks of her life unforgettable. So, she makes a deal with the devil- school's badboy- himself; Noah Black. But, as all stories, the Matchmaker has to interfere. A Cancer Diagnosed Girl. A Badboy. And A Bet That Changes Their Lives. ------------------- Started: 14th of May 2016 Completed: 13th of September 2016 ------------------- Cover made by the amazing @Jenikel098 ------------------- DISCLAIMER!! This novel was literally written in 4 months when I was at the age of 14 trying to overcome my obsession with the fault in our stars (yes, I used to read the book at a bare minimum of 3 times per week, if not once daily). I decided to write my own version of it and as you can see, it turned out like this. If you choose to read it and find it silly that is because it's written by a 14-year old. So, please don't write hate comments or anything. Thank you all, have a nice time reading it!

"She's that book nobody bothered to read, or a painting everyone underappreciated." * * * * Faith Johnson, was one of those rare people, who possessed a feeling for beauty. The capacity for endurance, a desire for happiness, and a gift for being tell-it-like-it-is kind of honest. Her life, was solely focused on being perfect, getting good grades, being elected student body president etc. And for a while she was, nothing could've been better. Suddenly, in the middle of senior year, her life takes a turn for the worst as she's ushered into a small room for an unscheduled doctors appointment. Faith learns, that in six months, she'll be lying eight feet underground. Angry, confused and hurt, she develops an iron will; to make the last days, her best ones. Only, she doesn't know, what she's getting into, Faith Johnson will be remembered--just not in the way everyone expects.
