Peridot is a boy. Lapis Lazuli is a famous teenager. She has gone to beauty competitions since she was a little girl and has always won. Lapis is a model and her mother is the owner a very good jewel and gem company. She could have anything she wants. She has money and looks. And now she is preparing for one of the most important beauty competitions in her life. Peridot is a very famous stylist. He and his brother Steven are given the most important assignment of their lives. Preparing miss Lazuli for the beauty competition. But they might find themselves a small surprise. Because now, they are behind the scenes.

In this alternate universe there are four kingdoms called The Homelands, the Crystal Lands the Dark lands, and the outlands. Mostly at war. Lapis Lauzli: future Queen of the Dark Lands spends most of her time self mopping in her room. A passion for freedom and a longing lust for love but a stubborn heart, will her quest for love be completed once she encounters a powerless peasant?

Peridot Diamond is known as the most popular and prettiest girl in her school and everybody wants her.There are endless lines of guys and girls waiting in anticipation to date her. lapis lazuli is known to be quiet and isolated. almost everyone​ in beach City Highschool knows she has a crush on peridot and has been for a while. lapis knows peridot is a player, and if she ever did date her, it wouldn't last. but lapis doesn't care. she will do whatever it takes to date peridot, not even the people peridot dates will stop her. One day lapis gets assigned as peridots new roommate in college and they have trust issues at first because of something that happened between them two years before they became roomates.But they muster up a small friendship. will they ever become more than that or will lapis just become another soul to have her heart shattered by peridot?

Peridot is a 17 y/o who is very intelligent and secretive. Peridot is a Diamond but hides the fact that he's and currently goes to a school owned by his aunt (YD) called Diamond Authority. Lapis is turning 18 and very known at her school. She has Hydrokinesis, which only a few people in the world have. She knows Peridot is hiding something, and tries to figure it out, will she find out?

She was born with blue hair and blue eyes and pale skin. She loves to sing and play instruments. But she also suffers from depression. Peridot is an extremely smart boy. He is 19 years old. He has blond hair and emerald green eyes and pale skin. He loves to work with technology and loves to read and write. He is not social. And he knows how to play most of the instruments. What happens when music and writing mix together? What happens when green and blue are mixed in the same can? Will it spill or will they go to a stage and sing their heart out? Only the lyrics will tell.

The other mean person of the school. He is a big jerk and brute. But Peridot doesnt let Jasper get to him. The only people who hang out with Peridot is the crystal gems. One of the clubs of the school and welcoming commity. Lapis is transferring to Beach City high. There she meets Peridot. Slowly they develop feelings for one another. But will it last? Or will Lapis' illness not allow this love to bloom?Lapis is not a normal girl. And he is a mean boy.
