Delilah is the typical straight A student; she's apart of all the clubs, she's outgoing and she has her whole future planned out, right down to the last detail. A determined author, she is enrolled to attend college next year. She is ambitious. Nathan, her brother, is not so much. A high school drop out, he has no future, planned or otherwise. His ambition is none-existent. Delilah, however, soon discovers that her talents go beyond what she had initially believed. With pen in hand, she soon discovers that she can control her life, and the lives of others, with only a few sentences...and Nathan, disillusioned with his life, is quick to take advantage of his sister's strange power...

State and church negotiate and agree to human sacrificial acts becoming a legal punishment for any offences, from minor to severe. The church agreed in the name of God. The state agreed in the name of legal death.
