Hailie Adams left 3 years ago to travel around europe for a school photography program. When she left, she left a lot of things and people behind. But most importantly she left her best fried Aiden Grey. Aiden and hailie have been best friends ever since she could remember, the two were inseparable so when she left it was hard on both of them.  3 years later hailie comes home expecting to see aiden waiting for her with bog open arms & everything to be just like normal but boy was she wrong. Nothing was like she left it. Aiden was sent to juvie, and now is known as the bad boy. He wants nothing to do with hailie and keeps pushing her away. The town is filled with secrets, lies and judgements, but hailie doesn't care what aiden or anyone says she was on a mission to save her best friend no matter what she had to do. Little does he know on this mission shes going to discover feelings that she never knew were there for her once best friend who only wants hailie to leave him alone. Does hailie take the abuse and hurt from Aiden or does she just give up and accept that he changed? 

After Alaina's previous ordeal with finding her real father and killing her mother, she now has to try to hold herself together while dealing with Xavier's rejection and his presence at school. While watching her newfound enemy flaunt her way in to Xavier's arms, Alaina makes friends with an interesting character from Xavier's past. Much to Xavier's disliking he tries to come between the friendship that Alaina refuses to let go. While secrets come to the surface, connections are made, and Xavier's past comes back to taunt him by making itself Alaina's company, getting too close to home. Now, with Alaina having to deal with not only her mate's rejection, but his drama as well, she must decide whether or not she heed his warning or defy him.
