La historia está ambientada en la ciudad de Malibú (California), donde todos sus habitantes son muñecos de plástico. La historia se centra en la vida de la famosa muñeca/muñeco Axl, sus hermanos, sus amigos y su novio Slash.

Slash struggles with addiction and it's destroying his relationship with Axl. He tries. He wants to try. But it's a hard battle of self-control, pride and strength and if he fails he'll loose everything.
