Based on Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. My interpretation of what happened to the partner after the hero's disappearance and before their return. I'm using the names of my hero and partner here, but I keep their species ambiguous. Just a bit of a warning, I'm delving into issues with anxiety and depression. If that's a trigger to you in anyway, well, you have been warned. I only touch upon briefly, so don't worry too much. Partially inspired by a Periphery song of the same name. The meaning behind the song is being unable to let go of the past, so I thought it would be appropriate for this story. Eve is a human turned Eevee on a quest to find out who she really was. Along the way she meets Star, a quirky young Shinx who wants to join a mysterious Guild that very few Pokémon ever speak of. He wants to become an explorer and asks Eve to join him. But the only problem is finding the mysterious Guild, or so they thought. A bigger problem had plagued the area once they arrived; Pokémon were mysteriously disappearing. Eve and Star, along with the rest of the Guild, are determined to find the cause of these strange occurrences. Does Star's past have something to do with it? Or is it Eve who brought this mysterious phenomenon? Disclaimer: I don't know why I have to do this but... I don't own Pokémon or any characters or places that were created by the Pokémon Company... Or whoever... But if I did I'd be filthy rich and wouldn't be writing this. I also do not own the cover art. It belongs to its respective artist.

This is another book in the nonsequential Tempian Tales series. This riolu has no idea how cruel the world is. A war broke out and Leo benefits from it. All the money and fame, but he's just gotten into the largest struggle in history. The humans have invaded pokémon territory, but conquering five pillow fortresses doesn't win a war - the war that left its mark three thousand years ago. It was a fight between humans, but on this soil, pokémon take no sides. All humans must suffer for their actions.

A Treeko, named Vine, joins soon after. Little did the Team know, Rose was on a mission of her own. She vaguely remembers she had a partner with her. And she's determined to find him again. But she doubts she will. Until... A Time Gear gets stolen. Then another. Then another. It is after the fourth Time Gear is stolen that the Team goes out to find The Thief. But when Rose comes face-to-face with him, suddenly she realizes something startling, that every time she sees The Thief, something goes off in her mind. Like, her memory. Then, suddenly, something terrible happens, and a Pokemon that was once a friend ends up being the real villain.
