In the city of Panem, every year there is an event that takes place during an entire month. This event is called the Purging Games, where all crime is legal, including murder. This is a story in the perspective of a group of girls trying to survive the month.

But then Jace Wasson comes along, self-contained and enigmatic. He doesn't give Everly the best first impression, but the two of them just can't seem to stay away from each other. Everly finds herself falling- falling in love with someone who she never expected to like the slightest bit.

If you have read The Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyers, you may that Cinder, or Selene has no memory of her previous life, as Queen Channary's daughter. I had this idea a few weeks ago, to write a book about that part of the story in Selene's point of view. To say the least, this book is going to be about Selene's previous life, and how she saw the city of Artemisia.
