Inspired by the New York Times best seller Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. As time ticks by with every moment spent on the island of Cairnholm, Amber DeVine realizes she hasn't got much of a life at all. The days simply consist of waitressing at her Uncle Kev's pub or enjoying the company of her only friend, Martin. That is, until a mysterious boy comes to visit, claiming his late grandfather knew things about the abandoned children's home that resides on the island, things no ordinary person could perceive. Together, they uncover the truth about the children there, as well as their distinct Headmistress who may be linked to both the boy and Amber's past. All the while, rewriting their lives for the better and unravelling a past Amber would rather keep hidden. A tale of adventure, regret, romance and down right peculiarities. I don't own any of the rights or credits of the characters and story of Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children (Ransom Riggs does) except Amber DeVine and her peculiar antics. Please enjoy my remake with an extra character! (This is a MillardXOC fic). [Highest ranking in Fanfiction - #137 (I think)] BOOK ONE: Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children (My Remake) COMPLETED! In the progress of editing. BOOK TWO: HOLLOW CITY (My Remake) IN PROGRESS Cover by: kittykatrawr365

It hurts you know, betrayal. The pain slowly eating your heart, the words stabbing you, the negative thoughts circling your mind. Have you ever felt that pain? I did. When my friends believed an idiot who couldn't even hold a sword, when my father disowned me, when my girlfriend cheated on me. I left carrying that burden in my heart. Now after so many years, that pain still lingers in my heart, I slowly believed on the words that stabbed me, back and front, and the negative thoughts never left me. And I covered it all up with a smile. But I had to go back, damn fatal flaw, I need to go back. Not just to save them but to save me too, to bring me back, to bring Percy Jackson back. Because 10 years ago... They already killed him. ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬ English Started: October 2k15 ©Janalecksa

Why is Shay the real hero of the Uglies series? Who was the better boyfriend for Tally: David or Zane? How can we prevent prettyheaded behavior in our own world? In Extras, the last book in Scott Westerfeld’s Uglies series, Aya tells us that when Tally Youngblood made the mind-rain fall, it cured all the pretties and changed the world forever. But Tally and her friends did more than change their world; they changed ours too. Mind-Rain continues what Tally started, with startling, funny and insightful essays on the world, characters and ideas of the Uglies series, plus the short story that inspired Westerfeld to write the books in the first place. Think you know everything about Tally’s world? After Mind-Rain, you’ll never look at the Uglies series the same way again

In ZEROES, Scott Westerfeld teams up with award-winning authors Margo Lanagan and Deborah Biancotti to create a sizzling new series filled with action and adventure. Don’t call them heroes. But these six Californian teens have powers that set them apart. Take Ethan, a.k.a. Scam. He’s got a voice inside him that’ll say whatever you want to hear, whether it’s true or not. Which is handy, except when it isn’t—like when the voice starts gabbing in the middle of a bank robbery. The only people who can help are the other Zeroes, who aren’t exactly best friends these days. Enter Nate, a.k.a. Bellwether, the group’s “glorious leader.” After Scam’s SOS, he pulls the scattered Zeroes back together. But when the rescue blows up in their faces, the Zeroes find themselves propelled into whirlwind encounters with ever more dangerous criminals. At the heart of the chaos they find Kelsie, who can take a crowd in the palm of her hand and tame it or let it loose as she pleases. Filled with high-stakes action and drama, Zeroes unites three powerhouse authors for the opening installment of a thrilling new series. Read a sneak peek here on Wattpad and look out for ZEROES on September 29, 2015 in hardcover, ebook, and audiobook wherever books are sold.

{completed - UNDER EXTREME EDITING} FEATURED ON THE OFFICIAL @Fanfic HUNGER GAMES READING LIST. ❝Attachment always results in pain❞ Harper Anselin is a fifteen year old girl from District 12. She is quiet, keeps to herself, loves nature and is very rarely seen without a bow and arrows. When the reaping for the 99th Hunger Games comes around, she doesn't think things could get any worse - her little sister had died recently and her father had fallen seriously ill. The odds are definitely not in her favour. So when she is chosen, she doesn't know what to do. No one volunteers for her (of course) and she will have to spend her sixteenth birthday fighting to the death. Harper knows her mother wouldn't be able to support her dying father, but she know that if she wins, she can nurse her father back to health with good food and medicine. Scared and alone, she will face the trauma that is the Hunger Games. However, she isn't alone. She never was and never will be... * * * Also published on Quotev and Mibba. And please beware...this was my second story. It's chock-full of typos and silly story lines. But ah well. Hopefully my editing will change it! Please enjoy the story!
