Warning: highly cliché and cheesy. Somehow once got to #1 in fanfiction

The town of Salem, Louisiana is a quaint little town. No more than forty people live in it. To most, Salem doesn't even exist, in fact it's not even on the map. It's been six years and five days since a single traveler passed through. So when five strangers bus breaks down they're welcomed with open arms by some, and others not so much. They have to wait a whole month till a part for their buses engine comes in. The only good part about this is nobody knows who they are. One month in a quiet town without being famous sounds like heaven on earth for the boys.

Was it her beauty that reeled me in? The mysterious, deep, color her eyes contained? Or her addictive smile, smell, or even her personality? It was none of these things. The reason she's too afraid and too sad to even talk is what made her even more mysterious and captivating to me. Not talking for six years as a side affect from a tragic accident is what I learned had caused it; her sister and mothers death traumatized her. I tried to protect him; but I didn't' know how. So I lied. It was only because he was my bestfriend. Because I love him. This secret you ask? Well, my parents died. And I have gastric cancer. How I managed to hide that for so long? No clue. I was willing to do anything to cover it up. When I realized how wrong it was, it was too late. More lies, losses, and love.
