Ash has just finished his research with Gou, and had battled his way up to Leon in the World Tournament. He used his Galar Team of Pikachu, Dragonite, Lucario, Gengar, and he called upon Charizard and Sceptile to aid them. Unfortunately he still lost the fight, but using his powerhouses made Ash remember a certain frog that used to be a part of his Kalos team, and even a certain Honey-Blonde that gave him a special surprise when they separated that has been on his mind ever since.
