Flames scattered savagely around the college campus, licking up the walls and crawling across the floors. Thick, black smoke poured out the windows and doors, strangling the people escaping from the campus. I scanned the area as familiar faces pushed past me. I ran to help a woman who tripped down the stairs, when I turned abruptly as I heard screaming. "Callaghan! He's still inside!" I turned toward the school as people pointed at the ever growing flames. I felt searing heat push against my face, sucking away the air I needed. Sweat poured down the back of my neck as the temperature rose. I started to run toward the flames, when I felt my sleeve yanked on, a small but strong hand grasping my wrist. I turned and looked into the startlingly dark eyes of my little brother. They pleaded with mine, desperately asking me to change my mind. "Tadashi don't! Please!" he gasped. I took one last glance at him, memorizing his young face. His straggly black hair sticking up all over the place, his cheeks red from the heat and a smudge of soot on his nose. I tear made its way down my face. "Callaghan is still in there! Someone has to help." And with that, I ran into the building. Copyright belongs to Disney! Artwork is not mine!
