In Greek Mythology, Sirens are described as sea nymphs infamous for their habits of luring sailors into the depths of the ocean with enchanting music and beauty.
As for Siren Hart, the ocean was nothing more than a place she'd read about in the books she'd hidden in the loose floorboards of her orphanage bedroom. The quiet girl who could often be found clutching a golden seashell pendant, and described herself as socially inept, considered her name the furthest thing from fitting.
In introducing herself to the real versions of mermaids, Siren learns a bit more about herself than she'd bargained for. The return of the Triward Tournament brings Siren a bit too close to reality, and perhaps someone she was certain no longer existed. When faced with an ancient family curse, all she could think of was to protect the clumsy boy who hardly knew she existed. Merlin save her soul.
