It was surprising when I found an emerald laying in the middle of the woods. It was clear-ish green, half the size of my hand, and very, very entrancing. The emerald was almost... Addicting. I felt connected to it. I needed to be near it. It was even more surprising when, after leaving the emerald on my nightstand, I woke up with fur and whiskers. How was I supposed to know it was a magical gem that turns people in to cats?! I didn't even believe in magic! After escaping and hanging out in the woods for a couple days, I... ...wind up on a quest to break into the animal pound. Yeah. My life really changed the day I found that emerald.
