✨Watty Shortlisted!✨ In Albia, the poor are scum, and there's no scum worse than Exotic immigrants. Shy, studious Sannah MaVae is determined to make something of herself, escape the expected fate of a young Exotic. It's just a shame her wild little sister Judit doesn't feel the same way. Then one day, Sannah's world changes. Judit is snatched away, taken to live in the wilderness as part of a savage tribe for a scientific experiment. Now, Sannah must do everything she can to save her. As Sannah negotiates sex, drugs and the criminal underworld of the city in an attempt to find her sister, this means she must face some wildness of her own. Meanwhile, for Judit, life in the wilderness isn't the fight for survival she expected. It's a whole lot weirder than that... 🥇Undiscovered Writers Awards 1st🥇 💡💡Wattpad Featured Story💡💡 ⭐️Top rank: 14 in Adventure⭐️ ⭐️⭐️19 in Science Fiction⭐️⭐️ ✨Cover Art by @italychick; Aesthetics by @ifeelokayish ✨

These poems were written initially as part of a 7Days challenge hosted by PoetsPub on Wattpad. I felt the need to write about the refugee crisis because it had a profound affect on me emotionally. I have been out of touch with the news for a long time. I cannot bear to see innocent people get murdered, or children getting orphaned, or worse, dying, all because of some politically motivated war. I stopped following the news channels a long time ago. Recently however, some very disturbing images surfaced on the Internet, showing refugee children who had drowned in their attempt to reach the safety of land. My question is why were they in the water in the first place? Why did their parents feel like their homes were no longer safe? I am aware that some countries are providing safe haven to these refugees, but I think this problem needs to be dealt with at the roots. Stop waging war in these countries, and there won't be any more dead children. At least that's how I see it.

The End; always a time for happy closings, forgiveness to the forsaken and the forever damned. Broken hearts find ways sew themselves and carry on, but only sometimes the story that comes after the 'happily ever after' is told in it's true light. Because sometimes there is no such thing as happily ever after. We all want heroes to fight for us, to get the girl and save the day. What happens when they're just as lied to and broken as all the rest of us? Do they crumple up and rot away like the rest of societies most beloved rock stars. The answer to that question is an artful one, crafted so the only way it could be told is going from The Beginning. The Crown of the Dead is set one hundred or so years after a Donald Drumpf presidency in which he declares himself king of America and destroys the world economy. The lionhearted Raven Aife is a young, black, sword wielding, warrior girl who found herself becoming queen of the land. Which is a title she didn't want at all, as she isn't that great of a people person, or a speaker, as all she really knew how to do was lead an army into battle and fight with her mighty blade. How will Raven cope under the pressure of trying to run a country?

A memoir, of sorts, of my trip to Washington DC in protest of the inauguration of Lord Voldemort.
