Rosalie May Gilbert was adopted into the Gilbert family. Rose has that bitchy, stand up attitude that comes in quite handy. When she returns to Mystic Falls after being in Canada for two months looking for her birth parents she finds out that vampires exist after Elena had kept it a secret for months her whole world turns upside down. Klaus makes Rosalie and Stefan join him on a quest after he believes he's killed the doppelgänger, but little does he know, Stefan and Rosalie both know she still alive. Rosalie battles with herself when she realises that her friends have turned into backstabbers and Elena is just as bad. While Rose was in Canada she spent most of her days with Klaus, but Klaus compelled her to forget so when she gets her memories back she remembers that Klaus doesn't mean to be so evil. When Bree came up in the box she was unconscious. When she wakes up she is in the slammer with boys around outside. When she comes out she gets a tour of the glade. When the doors open the maze the gladers are surprised to see and girl who looks like she has been trapped in the maze for weeks. When the gladers make it over to her all she does is pass out on to the ground. "She's not stung." Said a voice that was not to far away. "How did she get here?" Said another. "How is she alive?"
