May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand. ~ * ~ Survive. This is the only thing Cass has in mind for the coming months. And it’s not for herself, not really. Cassandra South-Kennedy is angry. At least that’s what most of the people around her believe. Between being locked up for becoming too powerful and discovering truths about herself and her heritage, it’s not like she doesn’t have a reason. After Peter Marks rescued her from Cold Creek, all she has on her mind is revenge. She can feel the end coming, at least the end of this chapter of her life. Only problem is, as she sets up the conclusion of her revenge plan, there’s the little matter of settling the deal she’s made with the rather unsavory Dark Ghost who has possessed her uncle. It’s a fine line Cass is preparing to walk but the final result, in her mind, is worth all the months of pain, sacrifice, and suffering she must endure and dish out in order to place her pieces correctly on the board to end the game that was started long before she was born. ~ * ~ Official Song: Seven Devils by Florence + The Machine

Make It Work. That’s what Cassandra South is trying to do. But making her life work turns out to be harder than she thought. All the same players are back as well as a few Cass has no plans for. Just as Cass thinks she’s found some even ground, it gets rocky again. Pasts come back to haunt several key characters while others are left dealing with the truth of the present. Things are changing and not always for the better. By the end, Cass is left with a big decision, sticking with the past she knows or moving on to the future her mother saw for her and all the complications it entails. All the while trying to remember that trust is not as hard as it seems. Official Song: Cold Water by Damien Rice (c) SCCourtney ~ * ~ Book Two in the Banish Me Saga

For two months, Peter Marks has been looking for the girl he loves. There’s no trace of where the Hunters took her and no one’s talking. He’ll do anything to find her: beat up her best friend, get suspended from school, even alienate all of his friends and family. No one else matters but her. But what will happen when Peter finds her? Will she be the same? Will she even be alive? More importantly, will she still love him? ~ * ~ Despair. A sea of waking moments and dreamless sleep. That’s where Cassandra South is. All she can think, or even wonder, is if there is anyone out there that really cares about her. After a brutal betrayal she never saw coming, the last words Peter ever spoke to her, and varying promises of how much longer this hazy state will last, Cass has reached the end of her rope. Her trust is broken. Her being is broken. Her heart is shattered. Who will save her? What will happen to her if someone does? The future is null and there’s nothing left but despair. ~ * ~ The third installment in the Banish Me series, Cass will face things she never thought she would. Things that just might break her in the end. ~ * ~ Official Song: For You by Angus and Julia Stone. © SCCourtney

There’s something different about Cass. Everyone in her hometown knew about it because they were like her too. She's a witch of the South, truth teller, and Daughter of the Earth. And she sees ghosts, not her favorite past time. After her mother's murder, Cassandra South is whisked away to a new school, new town by the father she's never met before. She hopes to just blend in and survive high school so she could go back to her hometown in Ireland after she graduates. However, after meeting Peter Marks, who just happens to be the other live-in student’s brother, she starts to change her mind about leaving and about life. But Peter has his secrets, just like her. The only difference is he can read all of hers. Over the course of seeing a new ghost, the school being broken into, and a few other dangerous adventures, will Cass learn to trust others with her secrets, her life, and her heart?
