No one ever said what would happen when dragons and aliens meet. And no one told me that I would be in the middle of it. Tasha was studying hard to get through her last year of university when she was kidnapped. She certainly didn't expect to wake up with four feet and wings. Mad scientists are bad enough, but things get even more complicated when aliens appear and wipe out the human race. Is there a way for her to hide her true identity in this new world while retaining her humanity? --------------------- Sneak Peek: I jumped over the lip of the tray and beat down hard with my wings. I had expected to only slow my fall; I had not expected to end up gaining so much height. I squawked in surprise and spread my wings wide in alarm before gravity regained its hold on me. With several awkward back-winging motions of my wings, I landed lightly on the floor. Well, at least I know my wings work. I glanced at the man in the corner as he was scribbling quick notes. I turned around to regard the tray again. They say practice makes perfect. With another hop and a single wingbeat, I managed to land in the sand tray with fanned wings slowing my momentum. That was much more graceful. But a wing-assisted hop wasn't true flight. And I still wasn't on the windowsill. ---------------------------- Entire semi-polished draft can be read on Wattpad. As far as lazy roommates go, Death is probably as bad as they come. Rosa Delgada only wants a nice, ordinary weekend. When some guy claiming to be the Reaper comes knocking on her door, any plans of normality are thrown straight out of the window. Now she's got to worry about Death sleeping on her sofa, the forces of evil hunting down her new roommate, and - worst of all - all the post-break-up comfort food she keeps eating. And to make matters worse, Death is almost certainly going to go down in the record books as being the universe's least helpful roommate. He may be a horseman of the apocalypse but he'll be damned if he doesn't do the dishes. But life's going to get a whole lot harder for Rosa. Death's sudden holiday is resulting in some grizzly repercussions, and now all of the Underworld is out to drag him back. There's only so far sarcasm and strawberry ice cream will get you.

Tomorrow liked solitude. Then a naked lunatic arrived and demanded pants. Things went downhill from there.

Full version of Second Edition available on Amazon and via Kindle Unlimited. Chris Sinclair fades under a dark cloud after losing his mother to cancer. On the cusp of adulthood, he doesn't know where he should go or how to get there. But watching life pass him by was never the plan, and when he is forced to attend a concert in an attempt to coax him out of his shell, he discovers that life might have more to offer. Dante Heron holds the audience between his delicate bow and the tips of his fingers. He plays the violin as if every heart is his to command, but the discipline needed to perfect his skills has left him with nothing to spare. He's a fire that burns too bright or not at all-unpredictable and demanding. When Chris is unexpectedly offered a job to travel around Europe as Dante's assistant, or 'friend', he surprises himself by accepting. Their journey barely starts before Chris realizes he's in over his head. Every step along the way is fraught with tension, and the farther they go, the closer they veer to a breaking point. Invisible strings are at play, stitched into Dante's life by those who should have taught him how to love. Perhaps Chris is right to be afraid, but sometimes, what you fear the most is what you can't afford to lose.
