modern au / 2018 Highschool senior John Lennon was a role model for many of his peers. the punk rock loving, openly bisexual teen was likeable to many and an inspiration to those stuck in the closet. One of those being Paul McCartney. A kind, shy musical theater geek who wasn't seen much. He spends most of his time with his best friend George Harrison; who keeps Paul's sexuallity a secret. Because he was a good friend. Paul had already been beat up enough at his last school simply for looking like a "fag." When he ends up with a crush on John he tries to find out how he will get the boy for his own while avoiding coming out to his family and friends, while John, Stu, and Pete try to find dates for the senior dance.

Paul had strange feelings whenever he was was around John. something that felt like love. But Paul wasn't sure how to deal with these feelings. even if he did like John..more than friends, how would John react? Would he hate him?

John didn't move for a good minute or two. Then he set down his guitar and stood up. He walked over and sat down on the edge of Paul's bed and cupped the younger boy's face in his hands. "Paulie, listen to me. I'm in love with you. You. You, and no one else. I will never love someone the way I love you. Nor will I love someone to such intensity. I love you. I love you. I love you." Paul smiled. Because it was exactly what he needed to hear to put his brain at ease. "I know....I love you, too."

Paul McCartney has got a chance to change John Lennon's fate. There's a man with magic powers who somehow becomes Paul's friend along the way. There are a handful of time traveling organizations, none of which are exactly what they appear to be. John and Paul start a relationship, and things quickly become a lot more complicated in their lives. Feelings are realized. Moments are had. Bridges are burned. Nothing will be the same again. Will love between two men prevail during the sixties, a time where being homosexual is taboo, and even onwards? McLennon and Starrison.

John deperately tries to get Paul's attention, but can't. Paul is oblivious to his love for him, and keeps dating girls. John secretly destroys Paul's relationships in hilarious and sneaky ways. (Cynthia and Jane don't exist in this story)
