in which the pale, rich boy with a superiority complex finds himself falling for the girl that makes him feel oddly inferior.
{OR}
        Draco Malfoy knew that he should hate her-- his parents certainly did, and so did the rest of his extended family. The Pages and the Malfoys have harboured years of animosity between each other before he came along, so he wasn't surprised when he grew up despising her. With every single mistake he made, he heard of what the Page girl had done right-- it was brutal. What he didn't know though was that life was the exact same way for Ophelia Lynn Page as well.

        Ophelia Lynn Page grew up being the last of many siblings, all of them making a name for themselves in Slytherin like the rest of their family. The one thing she had to do right was sit on a stool and have a tattered, old hat tell her she was Slytherin, like she was supposed to be. But fate had something else in mind as she was placed in Gryffindor-- Ophelia realized that she truly was born to be Draco Malfoy's rival.
        He should have hated her, but he didn't want to, because something about the girl made him feel like he was finally making his own choices.
