When Elizabeth Smith follows her father to the newly discovered jungles of Africa, she meets more than just exotic wildlife. The small village, the beginnings of a new English colony, sits just inside the jungle. And inside the jungle resides a mystery - a man named Edward Jungleson. The villagers know only what he allows them to know; and they know not to venture too far into the trees after him. But not Elizabeth. She allows her curiosity to get ahold of her, finding herself lost in the middle of the African jungle. A stampede of elephants comes crashing towards her - until she finds herself swinging high in the vines with the one and only jungle man : Edward. He doesn't know why he saved her. The foreign people know to stay out of his home; so why did he save her when he allows the others their fate? Edward, a man raised by the jungle, finds himself drawn to the lovely, innocent woman. The jungle isn't a place for romance. But then again, it isn't exactly a place to live either. ((Loosely fantasized off of Tarzan the Ape Man, by Edgar Rice Burroughs.))

''Are you happy to see me Blue eyes?'' I shivered when he spoke, his words cutting through me from his ice cold tone. ''Are you aware that Gentlemen do not typically sneak into Ladies rooms, and watch them as they sleep. Some might even consider that rude.'' I bit out sarcastically, as I looked away from his hooded face. I heard an amused chuckle escape him, and I felt my anger growing. He thinks this is funny? ''I am terribly sorry. I must have been absent the day that they discussed that.'' -- Charlotte Wilson is suddenly moved with her Father from the bright city of London, to the strange city of Cairo. Here she is forced to go on some pretty daring adventures. From a stolen crown that somehow ends up in her possession, a window climbing thief who burns her books, and an ancient crime gang who has her Father, how much more adventurous could her life be at the moment?
