Her six, overbearing, overprotective, and borderline crazy (in her humble opinion) brothers, have found out about her not-so-secret boyfriend, her best friend has been secretly hooking up with her brother, and to top it all off, her three cousins from Italy have moved in and joined the brotherhood of making Lydia's life hard. Damon Rodriguez has been the perfect boyfriend, and what seems like her only ally, but now she has to decide if she should stay with him and follow her happiness, or break up with him and obey her family's rules. A series of unfortunate events leaves her in the hospital, her brothers in jail, and perhaps the deadliest event- a family dinner with Damon. A tragic turn of events means Lydia is going to leave home for a while, leaving everyone reeling. She finally breathes fresh air without her brothers around- or so she thinks. The rift between Felix and her father is growing more apparent by the day and she finally finds out why. A revelation from Felix brings Lydia home where she makes her final decision. Loyalty to her family, or her own happiness.

I began writing this at 15 and finished it at 17. It is my first novel, give me grace for that. [Warning: this book contains explicit content, crude language, drug use & abusive scenarios.] He tried everything, everything, everything to forget her. No matter how hard he fought, the memories wouldn't fade. She wasn't some dream girl, she was the dreamy one who taunted him. A blonde viper that shattered every part of him. But picking up the pieces? That's the part he never thought he'd get around to. Ace Valentino doesn't do what people expect-he's the guy who walks on the wild side just because he wants to. A brooding young man with a dark side fueled by brokenness, addiction, and bad decisions. His heart is still held hostage by his stoic, adrenaline-obsessed ex. How could he move on with that? It isn't plausible. So, he drowns the pain with alcohol and anything that numbs him. But Ace has secrets, ones he vowed to bury forever. Then, his new neighbor moves in and suddenly, something inside him stirs-something he's not ready for, and everything he's terrified of. Willow Andrews, sweet yet scarred, knows nothing but loneliness. Her guardian's abuse has built walls around her big heart. Love is a stranger to her, and she's afraid of what she doesn't understand. But something about Ace, the tortured soul next door, draws her in-despite the fear. In a world where love is something they can't quite reach, Ace and Willow collide. What could possibly come of this? Can they save each other, or will their pasts break them before they have a chance? The line between magic and misery is thinner than they think-and the change they both desperately need might just be the thing that destroys them, or... sets them free.

Riley's two older brothers do everything they can to protect her from their violent step-father. But what happens when they realise she wasn't as protected as they thought. Will her brother's find out the dark secrets she has been hiding? And can she break free from her inner demons? This is Riley's story. *** "Pl..Please..." cried Riley as she stumbled on the steps. "I love it when you beg," laughed Vincent as he dragged Riley to her bedroom. Shoving her into the bedroom he closed the door behind him, turning the lock. "How long do I have?" asked Vincent as he sauntered up to Riley who backed herself against the wall. "Not long, Jason will be back any minute now," lied Riley, her heart beating hard in her chest. Vincent placed his arms on either side of Riley's body, trapping her in while dipping his head to her eye level. "I think my little birdy is lying to me," he smirked. "Now tell me, how long do I have," he asked again, pulling out a knife from his pocket and sliding it up Riley's back underneath her hoodie. He pressed the knife into the flesh of her back and started to press down, cutting slowly into her skin. "Tell me," he repeated. "Thr..ee h..hours," sobbed out Riley. // WARNING: This story contains themes of self harm, rape and violence. *Can not be read as a stand-alone- it will not make sense.* With new starts come new adventures- or so Kody Lawrence has recently found out. With feelings she never knew she could develop, friends she never thought she'd have, and a town she didn't quite hate as much as all the others, anyone would think Kody's life was starting to improve. But with Kody comes chaos, disaster and pain. And Dakota Black. And with Dakota comes confusion, feelings and problems. Feelings Kody knows nothing about and problems she could definitely do without. Throw Mac, Ricky and the group of unnamed suits into the mix, Kody and Dakota have one hell of senior year to get through. Will the pressure make or break them? Or will they be able to get through it with the help of one another? Besides, things get even harder when Kody's mysterious past catches up to her a lot quicker than she would've hoped for. __ "I think you do love. But I also think you're so emotionally damaged that your perception of love is almost as fucked up as you are. But you can love- I've seen it." Published: 20.3.2020 (20th of March)

BEFORE YOU READ- DISCLAIMER! The main character is blunt, hates life and is very vulgar and hateful towards everyone and everything . However there is a reason for this. She is strong-headed and short-tempered, ill-mannered and disrespectful (though some may say in a loveable way). If this isn't for you, then I wouldn't suggest reading this book. It's about character development and personal growth. - Kody Lawrence is not normal. On the contrary, she's everything but. When the hot-headed, short-tempered, rude new girl arrives in the small town of Raven Hollow, Maine, most people are put off by her unexpected and -considering her horrible attitude and pessimism- unwanted appearance. However, despite her constant locked jaw, clenched fists and cold glare, Lilah Johansson, Kody's appointed 'buddy', can't help but want to be her new friend in spite of their not-so-impressive first impression. But Lilah is not to be sold separately, and with the friendly redhead comes four boys with charming smiles and welcoming arms that hide their own secrets and covered-up lies. Amongst the group of five, Dakota Black is the one who stands out with his calculating eyes and kind heart, and while Kody has no intention to stick around longer than a few months, he might just be the one to change that. With a duffel bag of money, a box-filled with different identities, a pocket full of problems and a closet stacked to the brim with secrets, Kody's quiet and peaceful Senior year takes a couple of unexpected turns. The only question is: Are they for better or for worse? ___ (Small disclaimer: The first few chapters aren't the greatest, but I took some time off from writing this book and came back to it when I'd gotten a bit better with writing, so if you can get past the rocky start, hopefully you won't regret it). ___ Re-published: 7.4.18 (7th of April) Finished: 9.3.20 (9th of March) Currently editing and correcting mistakes / plot holes. (Editing chapters at random)
