"Don't do it!" The fear in his voice shook me in a way that was completely inhuman. I new this was wrong, but it had to be done. Most importantly, I had to be the one to do it. "Erica! Please!" His cries made it worse. They made me want to quit. But I couldn't quit. Quitting was something I did too often. Things changed though, and I changed with them. "I'm so sorry!" I yelled back at Indie, my eyes finding their way to the water below me. I couldn't look at him, not even if I wanted to. His face would be all too much. There would be fear, sadness because he could do nothing to help, and rage because he couldn't read me like he used to be able to.
