Not only is she one of the most popular romance novelists, she's hiding something from her readers. She's never been in love, never even been kissed. And when Addy's faithful editor retires and a newer, hotter replacement comes in, how far will she go to make Mr. Elliot Hayes hers? It's battle royale at the office, and maybe with the help of her best friend Bria, Addy can be victorious. And through all of this, can Addy escape her writer's block and finish her sixth novel? Read as Addy acquires her battle scars, goes through lessons in flirting, and struggles to live out her own romance, in I Write Romances, Not Live Them.

J: I've been writing letters to a complete stranger and he's been writing back. Maybe a pen pal wouldn't be such a bad idea after all, my only friend has moved away and out of contact and I can't live without talking to someone, even if we've got no idea who we are to each other. T: When I first read her letter, I found it amusing. I mean, who even wrote letters anymore? But then it dawned on me, she was obviously writing to someone who meant a lot to her so I replied. I had no idea that someday, she'd mean a lot to me too.

What happens when the one you love is the one you should hate? Jane was an educated, freespirited woman. She grew up and thought differently than most people did in her rural south U.S. because she was taught in the North. As she is a young woman, her parents summon her back home to the well nourished plantation she knew as a young girl from her northern school. Now that she has grown up she wants to impress her family who sent her away. Will was a hardworking slave. He kept to his business and strongly disliked his position as a black slave. He is a strong man though, very different from his lanky youth. He knows his future is set up with Charlotte, a servant in master's home, by his mother. But what happens when Jane comes back to the plantation and sets her eyes on Will, as does Will on her? Secret friends as children, will their promise to be secret friends forever be changed by their sudden attraction towards each other? All of this is happening during the beginning of the U.S. civil war, will they be able to survive? Excerpt: “Well no…”Jane started, “I mean kind of…not in such a harsh way…We plan to have the wedding in June,” she finished. Will put his hands in his pockets and paced back and fourth. “So yuh just told me yuh love me and now yuh telling’ me your goin’ to marry another man?” “Yes Will, I mean what could become of us? Really what could, except a scandal.” “We’ll never be a scandal, not in God’s eyes we won’t, black, white, blue I don’t care I still love yuh and yuh still love me even if I’m a black man,” he looked to her eyes, “no one can take that from us.”

It started on Wattpad but now is EVERYWHERE! With a bestselling book by WWBG, a captivating Webcomic on Webtoon, and a film adaptation by Wattpad WEBTOON studios, you can read, scroll, or watch - there's an experience for everyone to dive into Waverly and Blake's journey. ***** In order to fit in during her summer visit to a beachside town, Waverly must take swimming lessons from Blake, the moody (but gorgeous) lifeguard next door. ***** Seventeen-year-old Waverly Lyons is from Alaska. She doesn't do sun. But after her divorced parents can't agree on who gets to have her for the summer, Waverly gets shipped off to Holden, Florida, to spend a couple months with her aunt, Rachel. There's one minor hiccup: Blake Hamilton, Rachel's seventeen-year-old neighbor. He's athletic, outgoing, arrogant, tan, and pretty much Waverly's exact opposite. She's eager to avoid him at all costs, hoping to fit in with the other kids in Holden without drawing too much attention to herself. But when Blake discovers that Waverly has been hiding the rather embarrassing secret that she can't swim, he does the unthinkable: He offers to teach her. [[word count: 100,000-150,000 words]]
