"I didn't ask to be in the middle of your ego-battle," I grumble. Blake pins me to my locker, hands resting on either side of my head. "Well, you got it in anyway, Darling," he whispers. His face is inches away from mine and damn me for licking my lips. I am NOT falling for these guys. And then, at the corner of my eye I spot Owen and his gang approaching. Well, that's just great. *** The West and East gang of Tygerwell have been at each other's throats since the dawn of time. And the two leaders of these gangs want to end the fight, once and for all. But fighting with fists is easy. Fighting with wit and charm, is a whole other ball game. Blake. West-side gang leader. Leather jacket and killer glare. Don't talk back. Owen. East-side gang leader. Fancy coat and toxic stare. Don't resist. And in comes Amber. Hair of gold and oceans in her eyes. Has too much sass for her own good and always, ALWAYS, manages to get into the middle of trouble. But these boys have no idea who they're really dealing with. And when Amber descovers she knows a little too much when it comes to guns and fighting, she has to question everything she thought she knew about herself. Three can play this game. *** "Let's settle this. You got rejected, I got rejected. It's only fair that the fate of the gangs be on who gets the girl first." "That sounds rather good, Rhodes. I'll take that bet on the golden girl." *** COMPLETED FICTION AWARDS: Best new story and best new account Highest ranking in Teen Fiction: #1 on 25/06/2018

#546 Romance on 26/02/2016 He bent down to her level, looking directly into her eyes. He brought his face close to her and kissed her just where the curve of her mouth began. She felt disgusted with herself as she felt a shiver run down her spine at his touch. Her body trembled in both, fear and excitement. What sick creature was she? When had she given him this much control over her? How could she enjoy this? Her ex-husband was assaulting her and she was feeling excited. Pathetic! His one hand was still in her hair, lightly pulling it back making her unable to move away from him. He brought his face to her ear, completely parallel to hers, and then muttered in a husky yet dangerous voice. Her body reacted to the way he spoke and she felt sick to her stomach. No matter how much ever her mind had wanted to push him away, her body betrayed her and reacted towards him in a way that she felt ashamed of even admitting to herself. "Now is the time to scream Raine! I will do things to you now and you will let me. Don't even ask me why?." He fixed her with an intense look. "You already know the answer. It is because your heart is not in here." With his other hand, he knocked his knuckles on her chest gently, exactly at the place where her heart was supposed to be. "It's right here." He opened his fist and closed it. Although there was nothing in his palm, but she felt breathless as his fist closed. It was like he trapped her heart in there and as much as she may have tried to escape, he wouldn't let it go. It was his to hurt, to break, to repair, or to love. It belonged to him. "That's all you got?" "I didn't even start and you are already breaking sweat." I smirked. He didn't look amused but suddenly had a smug smile on his face. "Who hired you perrita? You can't even make a man want you. What good is a woman who can't even make a man want her?" He smiled and opened his legs wider, inviting me. And I did accept his invitation. I moved towards him and glided myself down the floor, till my face was in between his legs. I trailed my arms from his thighs as I slowly got up and slightly touched his erection, not once leaving eye contact. And then I rose up completely and watched with satisfaction as his jaw twitched slightly. It looked like he was trying to control himself and I bit my tongue to stop myself from laughing out loud. "A little excited, are we?" I couldn't smile but snicker at his expression. He gritted his teeth and his jaw clenched. For just a second, he closed his eyes and then when he opened them again, they were void of any emotion. *Content Warning : Adult stuff & lots of smut! 18+ only* All Rights Reserved.
