He has made every teacher he had quit on him, hoping for his mother to let him go. But his mother ends up hiring Mark Fischbach, the best teacher out there. Jack/Sean is a normal-ish college student. He doesn't go to parties and get drunk every night, instead he stays in his dorm and basically keeps to himself. There was always these woods he would go to for some peace, but one night he had heard on the news that those specific set of woods has been experiencing paranormal almost supernatural like occurrences. Of course, he brushes of the idea and still goes to visit them. About a month after he heard those news he started to get a weird feeling every time he went there, almost like he was being watched. Jack's the invisible boy at school, never being noticed, or if he is he gets used for his information or as the laughing stock. He meets a boy who he thinks is different, until he ends up like everyone else. He falls deeper into depression and even the new boy might not be able to save him.

Jack is a prince in a Kingdom nestled in the mountains, and he is well acquainted with his people and his life. However, he's definitely not ready to take over his term as the King yet. There's too much that he hasn't done yet, and even with the other Kingdom he's supposed to ally with his own through marriage growing frustrated and restless with their weapons, Jack refuses; girls aren't really his type anyway. Mark is a solider for the King's army, and has been all his life. He is aware that the other kingdom is ready for war, and he is going to be the one to fight them. Even so, his general assigns him the role of persuading the prince into marriage by protecting him as he does what he wants, but always reminding him of his duties - an order that Mark ignores. Only after they start spending time with each other do both men realize they found themselves in a situation much more than they bargained for.

We all know what dark magic can do to people. There is only one city in the entire realm that has both Dark, and Light magic users living in peace. But there is only one problem. The most elite school for young magic wizards has just started letting dark magic users in, with the exception of a restraining collar to help them resist their addiction. Mark Fischbach comes from a very powerful Dark magic family his father is the head of the Dark Mage council. While Sean McLoughlin comes from one of the lesser Light magic families.
