Come along as I travel through Morocco, from ancient city to endless desert. Enjoy the history and beauty -- as well as the excellent food (I'm food historian -- I have to write about the food) as I circle this wonderful and ancient country full of fascinating places and friendly people.

30 Before 30. Thirty days in Europe. Thirty inspired moments of adventure to live it up before my 30th birthday. Just the idea of it gave me purpose. Here was a reminder that I could choose a new path, even if it was only for 30 days. A little background first. Ten years ago, if you had told me that at 29, a normal week for me would be taking Sienna Miller out for a night on the town, going to see an NBA Lakers game across the court from Jack Nicholson, and taking a celebrity-filled private jet to Vegas for a Maroon 5 concert, I would have laughed and said, “Order me another shot, crazypants”— of course, secretly hoping you were right.

Ranked: #248 in ChickLit Josie had it all sorted out. Everything that happened in her life, happened due to a strict plan. There was no space for the Unforeseen, especially not in her vocabulary. Working a fulfilling career in a day-care center, she'd been saving all her money the past few years for her future with Dominic. Their relationship was just as ordinary as her life, part and parcel of her daily routine. But when Dominic leaves her out of the blue, none of Josie's plans seem to work out anymore. The future that has been planned in the minutest details is suddenly replaced by a blank space. Realising just how dependent on Dominic she was, Josie finds herself in a position, she never wanted to be put in. She becomes a stranger to herself, not knowing who she is or wants to be. Left without a single plan, a single dream for her future. Aimless and lost in her own life. Broken-hearted, Josie comes to the only decision that seems tolerable at this very moment: Escape. Escape from her life, escape from herself. With only a suitcase and her savings, savings wasted on her lost love, Josie starts traveling around Europe. With the help of new friends and a charming man from England, Josie slowly rediscovers herself and the meaning of love.

There's only one thing I love more than writing: Traveling. And I've been lucky enough to do so constantly. There's no hierarchy or actual order to these fragments - they are simply bits and pieces of places that have stirred words within me. This travelogue combines my love of writing, traveling and photography, and I invite you to come take a look.

A storybook adventure ... It's a natural phenomenon -- a small country in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean hidden from the rest of the world by a circle of unnavigable fog. It's called Giggleswick, and twelve-year old Elliot Bisby has never heard of it, that is until he and his family are approached by an unusual man and asked to move there. Before they know it, the struggling Bisby family finds themselves on a tiny boat captained by a man who prefers a singing parrot to a compass, and they soon embark on a journey that no other seaman could make and live to tell about. In Giggleswick, Elliot and his parents find themselves mingling with a colorful set of locals the likes of which include an Irish-Arabian bagpiper, a man who thinks he's a knight, and a woman who does her exercises on the roof in high-heels. At last, Elliot has found the happiness he's been waiting for and a place to call his own, but what he doesn't know, is that helping Giggleswick to remain hidden from the rest of the world may prove far more difficult and dangerous than he could have ever imagined ... * the e-book version of this book is also available FREE from all major retailers. All three books of the trilogy are published and available for purchase everywhere.
