Hi y'all! Deepest apologies for my insanely long hiatus, I'm back! (well at least I hope so smh) Hope this is okay, might be a little shit as I wrote it at 5 am and just checked it over and made adjustments now so yes, hope its alright! And yes, I think I am planning on making this either a 2 part one shot, or potentially into something more, but nothing more than 3 parts. *Classing this as mature as if a second part is written, it will most likely indeed be mature ;-)*

Based on the ending events of 4x09-- After a plan to try and get Norman Bates readmitted into Pineview has gone wrong, Alex has a strong urge to want to go and check on Norma through the night, going against the distance she wished to keep after she had said she was done. He comes back to the Bates house with something very unexpected. (Done by @carbonellromero on Twitter. )

Norma Bates gets extremely drunk at a bar, to the point where the bartender stops selling her drinks and calls the first person on her contact list. That person just so happens to be Alex Romero.

After marrying Alex and taking Norman to Pineview, Norma had been having a hard time coping with all that has happened. Through countless efforts of trying to get in touch with her son, Norma finally had the opportunity to talk with him, but instead told her that he could never forgive her for making him stay at Pineview and he no longer had feelings for her. When she got home, she ran into Alex, who she only married for insurance. Everything was bringing her down, but there was one thing, one person that was holding her up, Alex Romero.
