Hope hates Faith, her sister. She has learned to accept that Faith is so much better than her. Everyone likes her and she hates it that she often got compared to her which is something she was sick of. She lets life go on and drag her along, letting Faith steal her dream. She just lets her do it as she kept inside that she really hated her. Although because of Ken, her best friend, she may be able to realize something. Something that will keep her dreaming and to not give up.

"My daughter, but Karantoes, I don't have a daughter." Squall shook his head. "Yet. You do not have a daughter yet," he corrected. "But if you swear she will belong to me and no one else than your punishment will be lifted. No strings attached." "You're talking nonsense," Squall raised his voice. "Thats to say if I even have a daughter. And what kind of life will that be if I give her to you?" "A good one," Karantoes promised. "I would not take her right away, I agree she would want to have a life before she meets me so I will grant her 20 years." "You can't be serious," Squall gasped. "Oh, but I am. I am trying to work with you here, to save you from death but this is the only thing I could come up with." "It's barbaric!" "Yes, and cruel. But I will be none of those things towards her. Squall," he sighed. "I am your good friend, I would not hurt your future daughter in any way." "I can't give her to you," Squall whispered.

Diamond is a 17 year old girl that lives in The Bronx with her mother and brother. They live in a broken down house on the lower east side and are in need of money. Her brother finshed high school but couldn't afford to go to college, so he works two jobs so that he could support the family. But their mother addiction isn't making living any better. They try to make her get go to rehab and get rid of her addiction but it never works. Diamond has the opportunity to get a job that might get her and her family out of their stuggle to pay the billsand feed theirselves . Will she take the job opportunty even if it means that she becomes a stripper?
