Sans has lived through countless timelines. He's seen the kid make friends with everyone, only to give up in the final moments. He's seen the kid killed, over and over and over again. Sometimes, he'd even done the killing himself. And no one ever remembers. Not even the kid herself. It's an exhausting cycle, one that never seems to end. But there's something different about this run. Another human's fallen down... the kid's sister.

My first story. It's a sans x reader fic, so don't judge too harshly. Also I have some bad pacing issues, but I hope yall will ignore them. Anyways on with the summary! You see monsters everywhere. This is a collection of chapters from my [Sans x reader] fanfic, Can You Hear Me? but from Sans perspective. Before reading this, I suggest you take a look at the main story, as this one will be based on the votes I get for the different chapters and probably won't make sense otherwise. It's been a few years since the barrier was finally broken by a human named Frisk, finally releasing the monsters back to the surface. They were all settling down well, finding jobs, learning about the surfaces history, and integrating themselves in the new culture that had started since their appearance. That's what most monsters were doing, anyway. Sans was a different story. Though he was happy everything had worked out in the end, and that the monsters were back on the surface, he was having trouble finding anything that really interested him up there. But that suited him fine, he thought, as long as everyone else was happy. That is, until he met (y/n). By some chance, Mettaton had been working with the rising star (y/n) Heir, and by another coincidence, dragged her along to one of the get togethers the gang had at Papyrus' house. That's the night everything changed for the group of friends that rallied around Frisk, and, that's also the night things got a lot more interesting for Sans on the surface. *Discontinued* This is the original version of Can You Hear Me? in it's unedited form. Monsters were back on the surface! But not everyone was happy with the change... though you aren't one of those people! Happy as a (relatively) popular singer, you were oblivious to the growing discontent. That is, until you met Mettaton's friends! The eventful evening changes your life in more way then one, but where you'll end up you don't know just yet. P.S. I do not own Undertale! If I had to give this story an age rating I'd say maybe 14+ or PG 13 I do use swearwords, there is violence, and there may be topics some people aren't as comfortable with. Of course nothing is stopping you from reading, just do so at your own discretion and know I've given you fair warning.
