In the small country town of Flame Tree Bay, everyone knows Sarah Attwell. The older folk remember her when she was barely knee high. Her teachers know Sarah as a dedicated student, and her friends will tell you she is the quintessential girl next door. There isn't much to not like about Sarah. That is until you meet her twin brother, Danny. Danny had always been an outcast. He just never managed to fit in. At school he hung around the misfits and troublemakers; smoking behind the sports shed and skipping classes. People used to say he'd grow out of it; that it was just a phase, only he never did. Every family has a black sheep, and for the Attwell's that's Danny. Problem with that is, he isn't a sheep at all. ---- Warning: contains violence, adult themes and undoubtedly a few grammatical errors. {unedited} ©2014 ellarose12

To hell with everyone. That's Siobhan's motto. Not even her loyal mentor Elias can strip her of her desire to barter passage to Ardorn where she can live without fear of her past catching up to her, a past that destroyed everything she loved. Streetwise and hardened to reality, Siobhan keeps her head down and out of the crosshairs of the Vanguard Generals--men who enslave anyone with magic into will-less perfect soldiers and kill any human who gets in their way. Their brutal methods part crowded streets and make even Siobhan shiver at the sight of their crimson cloaks. To stay clear of them is to survive and Siobhan is a master of survival. Until she meets Wren. His naïve, wannabe thief ways, would have been fun to play with if not for the fact he's willing to sacrifice everything, including his life, in order to rescue his fiancé. Siobhan finds herself pulled into his quest; one that shatters everything she thought she wanted. Reaching Ardorn becomes the least of her problems. If Siobhan doesn't accept who she was born to be, the entire world will shatter and a great evil will rise. So much for having a little fun. ___ This story was posted to Wattpad and only Wattpad. [Completed] Elysia's life is turned upside-down when she's abducted by supernatural creatures with demonic eyes and threatening fangs. What's worse is she has no idea what it is they want from her, except that it has something to do with a side of her that she's never known. The chances of Elysia getting out alive are slim, but perhaps with a bit of luck and a lot of bravery she can escape with more than just her life. Excerpt: ''What trick is this?'' The creature asked, but it didn't sound like a vicious question. He sounded... confused. When I didn't answer, he appeared in front of me, snatching my face in his hand once more and growling. ''What is that on your back?'' ''I don't know,'' I blindly answered, but corrected myself quickly when his grip tightened dangerously, ''It's a birth mark, the doctors called it a... a Lichtenberg figure. My mother said I was born with it, I swear it, even though it's usually what happens when you survive being struck-'' ''-by lightning.'' Siena can heal wounds with a touch of her hands. A captive since birth, she is used as a tool of war by a Plainsmen tribe. A chance escape into the forest proves successful... and deadly. Rescued by the Forestfolk--a group of people she always thought were nothing more than bedtime stories--Siena remains on edge. Trust does not come easily when persecution is all she's ever known. Keeping her abilities a secret seems like the right thing to do, until a tragic accident renders two Forestfolk spiraling toward death. If she chooses to reveal her abilities, she risks being subjugated again. Treated as no longer human. Maybe even sent back to the Plainsmen. But keeping her talent to herself means ignoring the injured around her, even allowing them to die. The choice seems obvious to Siena, but living with the repercussions of that choice is another matter altogether. A journey of self-discovery, a bit of adventure, and a splash of romance. In the darkest of night a run down old barn housed a woman in sheer pain, her body screaming as her lungs pushed out sounds so blood curdling it was sure to attract unwanted attention. With every scream she feared the unborn child she was about to give birth to, would never see the world. With the forest in ebony a lone stranger padded silently threw its under brush, he'd heard the terror of screams and was drawn to it like a moth to flame. Now that he was within ear shot, the stranger froze. His brain telling him that this was foolish beyond compare, while his heart said that he was in the right place. To which came another painful cry from a woman he knew nothing about, a decision he'd have to make- soon. Pushing the half torn door away from the barn he stared as a beauty with golden hair lay on the cold hard ground, blood sliding down ivory legs as she gripped the earth for some salvation. A whimper of a cry was all he picked up, as the woman looked to him with a final plea. "Please.....my baby"
