.:Broken Promises:. takes place after Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead. Almost everything happened except Rose wasn't framed for the murder of Queen Tatiana. She died naturally and passed the throne onto Lissa even though she was pregnant at the time with Christian Ozera's baby.

Strigoi are constantly lurking in the dark and an impromptu trip to Spokane proofs that much and along with her two Moroi chargers, Rose Dragomir and Andre Dragomir- daughter and son of the late royals.
