After the events of skybound, jay is having trouble dealing with what happened. He is depressed and has a breakdown. With his friend's help he may be able to get through it all. Or will a villain from the past come back to destroy jay and force him to relive his trauma. I know this is a really lousy summery but the story is pretty good so give it a read. Will he be able to unlock the mystery (with Rapunzel, Eugene, and Cassandra) of the Sundrop and Moondrop, and get his dad out the crystal? This story is based off of Tangled the Series. This is going to be my own version of the Moon Varian theory as well as my own Varian redemption arc. My own take on Season Two as far as we have (plus my own version of future events). Meanwhile Cassandra's now endless power rises up, as she swears revenge on Rapunzel for what happened so long ago. The series finale just hit its fifth anniversary, and as I was thinking about it I remembered this fanfic existed. ...this is certainly a piece of work, lmao. Between the writing style being very reflective of my age to the self-deprecating comments I wrote about my own writing to the stolen cover art (my sincerest apologies for that, I am going to change it but the original is by @codynaomiswireart on tumblr) it is beyond me what was going through my head when I wrote it. It is for that reason I found myself shocked to see it with thousands of reads and comments, which thank you for by the way, I did not realize there was this much demand for moon Varian lol. For now I intend on leaving it up solely because it is hilarious to me and a good reflection on what was at the time a very important show to me. In the present, a lot of my love for the series has been somewhat diminished, due to many factors. But I won't deny what it did for me then, as I have moved onto, what I am hopeful to view as far greater artistic pursuits lol.
