From ..." Note: This is my rewriting of history, and essentially a "what if" story. This fanfic was inspired by the movie "Thelma and Louise" and a Spanish film called "Dispara". Some of the dialogue is spoken in Spanish, although I'll try to add translation in the comment boxes. Also, this story goes to some dark places, including an attempted rape scene. So if you don't want to read that, nows the time to bail. But if not, please read with caution. With that said, I do some interesting things with the characters, especially Cynthia, and I think you'll find it intriguing (at least I hope so). Enjoy. Description: Set in 1973 during the Lost Weekend, Cynthia and Julian come to America to visit John and his new girlfriend, May Pang. What starts out as a simple visit, soon becomes a violent nightmare. When Cynthia and May are attacked by a vicious man, it's up to Cynthia to find the strength within herself to fight back. This leads her down a path of danger and fear, as she's being pursued by the authorities, and John and the gang are trying to find her. But Cynthia is wounded and getting weaker by the moment. And in a place as big as California ...is there any chance of finding her?

A lot can happen in one year, and no one knows this better than The Beatles themselves. Life turns from the regular mundane, and sometimes even scary push and pull of Liverpudlian life, to a rush of gigs, recordings, and meetings. Sleep is luxury and an excessive work ethic is necessary. For John, a man always in need of sort of rebellion, this set responsibility and structure in his life feels insufferable. Despite the fact that he's almost at the height of his career, and that he's doing exactly what he imagined he would be when he got his first guitar, he's not happy. Manager Brian Epstein finds one medium that, no matter what, pulls John in and captures his attention; the art of story making and literature. In order to keep John sane, or at least functional and happy, Brian pairs him with one of Liverpool's upcoming journalists, Evelyn Sinclair. A ghostwriter of sorts, she works with the man to create stories, write about special events, and allows John to express himself on a different spectrum than songwriting. What happens when Evelyn finds out that perhaps John's in need of a bit more than a writing partner, though? What happens when the articles John gives her are more than just the typical things she was expecting; more than the run-of-mill day-to-day Beatle schedule? What will happen when she decides upon herself to stop publishing them? This is story of two people: John Lennon and the journalist that hid it all. © 2017 WINSTONOBOOGIE Disclaimer: This is a Beatles fanfic, meant solely for entertainment purposes. This should not be read as a biography or be thought of as a nonfiction piece. Evelyn and every piece of dialogue in this is (sometimes) conjuncture and most of the time complete and utter imagination.

At the height of Beatlemania, John Lennon had it all; Fame, fortune, and a loving wife and baby waiting at home. Why, then, does he find himself drawn into the arms of another woman? **story contains mature content** This story is loosely based around the rumors of a secret relationship between John Lennon and Alma Cogan, a British singer known as 'the girl with the laugh in her voice.' She was the highest-paid British female entertainer of the 1950s and became close with the Beatles as their fame grew. There is not a ton of information out there regarding the possible affair, but Cynthia Lennon spoke about it many, many years later. Learning about some of the details she gave made me want to explore the possibilities and add my own twist. While this story is loosely based on actual people and events, none of it should taken as anything more than pure fiction. I do not own the Beatles (no matter how hard I wish!) or their likenesses.
