Slade's a normal chipmunk. He goes to school, then he goes home. He has neighbors on each side of his house. Well, except for the fact that one of his neighbors claim they have a child. But Slade hasn't seen any sign of a child, so he believes they're just crazy. Until one day, their son comes home. Immediately Slade takes a liking to him. But, then he finds out the reason he hasn't seen him until now. After spending time together, they start to fall for each other. But what happens if health problems get in the way for one of them? Will they still be by each other's side?
