David Copperfield is the eighth novel by Charles Dickens. The novel's full title is "The Personal History, Adventures, Experience and Observation of David Copperfield the Younger of Blunderstone Rookery". It was the first published as a serial in 1949-1950, and as a book in 1850. (COMPLETED).

Mr. Jones of Manor Farm is so lazy and drunken that one day he forgets to feed his livestock. The story is about an orphan, Oliver Twist, who endures a miserable existence in a workhouse and then is placed with an undertaker. He escapes and travels to London where he meets the Artful Dodger, leader of a gang of juvenile pickpockets. Naively unaware of their unlawful activities, Oliver is led to the lair of their elderly criminal trainer Fagin.
