On one average day, she decides to take a stroll to her backyard where her property meets the forest. After walking into the forrest, tables turn on her with interesting and life shocking events. What's better than being abducted by a creature other than human - a paranormal creature? Not only is the Higher Ranking demanding her, but other supernatural creatures are hunting her down all the while, as well. The only thing between her and the dangerous jaws of the paranormal, is Caspian; the man sent to retrieve her. Will trust be her friend or foe? When you can't trust, there always is hope. The past always has a way with catching up with the future. But life and death are always by your side; you just have to know which sides they are on.

Tessa Young is an 18 year old college student with a simple life, excellent grades, and a sweet boyfriend. She always has things planned out ahead of time, until she meets a rude boy named Hardin, with too many tattoos and piercings who shatters her plans.

"I don't date. I never want to date anyone. I think I'll stay single till I die." He said with a laugh. After Tessa read "After" by Hardin, she said she needed more time. A week turned into a month, a month into a year. Time went by and at some point she met someone else, someone she fell in love with and married. So Hardin Scott swore off of love. But love is difficult. Sometimes we fall in love even when we don't want to. And sometimes we have to rush into things because otherwise we wouldn't survive. While listening to Atmosphere by Bebe Rexha. I loved Tessa and Hardin, but sometimes I can't help but think Hardin deserved better. And so I created my version of the story. It's not perfect and I might change a few things in the future, but I hope you still like it.
