But then monsters attack the village that you are in staying at and start taking the baby's. You and Liuer mange to save a baby girl, and get separated from Sefu. Little after, you and you're brother find a cave in the mountains were you accidental set free the Monkey king, Son Wukong, also know as the Great Sage, who has been imprisoned in the mountain for 500 years. You, Liuer, and Son Wukong go on a journey together to save the world from the monsters that attacked you're village and to stop the "Mountain Lord". While on this trip, you're brother, you and Son Wukong become friends. But for you it might develop into something a little deeper then just being friends.
