Jack's parents had always been strictly religious and left him tainted with memories that will never leave him. Mark has never been normal and tends to have blackouts, where he'd lash out at others and come out of it not knowing what he had done. Realizing this, he tried to stay away from everyone, not wanting to hurt anyone anymore, but it proves to be a difficult task after he runs into someone he can't let go of.
