Carly Sheppard is a bright, young 24 year old social worker who lives in New York City with her always adorable/badass cat Louie. Her best friend, Violet, and Violet's boyfriend Jack, help her navigate through her life, which is perfect on the outside, but not so pretty once you get a little deeper. It gets even crazier when she meets the man of her dreams, Marshall, who has his own demons, and is also old enough to be her father. Oh, and he's also the super famous rapper Eminem. So, yeah.

Jordan Mitchell, a thirty five year old participating in the annual Purge in Detroit, Michigan in 2009. The Purge, an event during which all crime is legalized for twelve hours. Jordan is one of the best Purgers out there, causing her to be the one everyone wants to kill. She's a threat to everyone. When she somehow gets a call from hip hop superstar, Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg, she ends up signing a contract with rapper Eminem to stay together during the purge. What happens when Marshall Mathers, and Jordan Mitchell fall in love during the purge?
